Seeking Multidisciplinary Design Strategists - Design4Growth Programme
We are recruiting a panel of multidisciplinary Design Strategists to provide mentoring support to 10 companies in the South-East of Ireland from May to October 2018 through the Design4Growth Programme.
Design4Growth, a programme to assist micro and small businesses grow their business through the use of strategic design, is being rolled out to the South East of Ireland. The programme is funded by the Department of Business, Enterprise & Innovation (DBEI), and is supported by the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI), and the Local Enterprise Offices (LEO) in the South-East Region - Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford. The Design4Growth initiative was initially piloted in Dublin in 2015 as part of Irish Design 2015 by Dublin City Local Enterprise Office (LEO) and Dublin City Council. Following the success of the pilot scheme in Dublin, the 2018 programme will focus on businesses in the South East region. 10 Companies will be selected to participate in the Design4Growth Programme. These companies will attend workshops to gain best practice guidance on applying Design as a tool for business growth, be supported by a Design Strategist throughout the programme duration, and are eligible for up to €3,500 funding to undertake their project (€1,000 of which will be invested by the company)
